School shows for 4th through 7th graders are designed to meet core requirements. The standard theme is, “Our 13 Planet Solar System,” but can be modified to reinforce individual class programs.

Pricing Structure:
Each 45-minute show is $90.00 for groups of 30 or less. There is a $3.00 charge for each additional person. The theater seats a maximum of 70 people. Checks payable to: Southfield Parks and Recreation.
Three series of 8 public shows each are presented, Fall, Winter and Spring. Each 90 minute presentation includes a 30 minute interactive talk on the weeks topic, 30 minute visual presentation, 30 minute star show, hand-outs and door prize. Program begins 7:00 pm on Wednesdays. Call the planetarium at 248-746-8880 for scheduled date and program information.
Discounted Tickets: can be purchased through Southfield Parks and Recreation, 26000 Evergreen Rd., Southfield, MI 48075. Southfield residents pay $30.00 for the serie of eight shows, others pay $40.00. Individual tickets are $5.00 for Southfield residents $5.50 for others.
